Cape Oar is even more charming than in the photos. The building is very old and historic, but very well maintained. There is a retail storefront on one side and apartments on the other. The entrance is private and the porch is a wonderful bonus. Parking (off-street) was very easy and secure. Inside everything is clean and modern. There are two mini-splits for heating/cooling, and they are whisper quiet. Washer and dryer were convenient. We got caught in a downpour one night and having a dryer was very welcome! The decor and lighting is soft and inviting. The bed is memory foam and comfy. We didn't us the TVs or music speaker, but they're there if you need them. Finally, the location is premium. Just a couple of blocks from the outdoor mall and the beach. Two passes included, and also a ticket for chair & umbrella rentals! Everything is walkable. Acme grocery right across the street. We liked the coffee place right across, too (better than in the mall). Thanks, Julia & Hanno!

We had an great stay at Julia’s and Hanno’s place. Great location and central to most restaurants and shops. Although we did not walk to the beach, it is an easy walk. The beach tags addition was an added bonus on top of the fully equipped kitchen, covered amenities, and onsite parking. Highly recommend.

We loved the private apartment. The layout, appliances, and interior were all recently redone and set up very well. Everything was squeaky clean and felt very comfortable. We loved how close it was to the beach and the downtown area with shoppes and restaurants. We would definitely go back again!

This the second time my wife and I have stayed at Julia's place. Certainly won't be the last time for sure. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cape May, look no further then Julia's place. It is a absolutely beautiful place with everything you need for the stay. The kitchen is great and the deck is wonderful. We spent as much time around town as we did relaxing on the deck. She is a wonderful host. The check in process was seamless. We highly recommend Julia's place for a wonderful Cape May getaway.

Our family had a great stay at this property. Very walkable and nice to have off-street parking. Inside is decorated tastefully and has everything needed for comfort. We had zero issues and would not hesitate to recommend this rental again or stay here again ourselves.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cape Oar — we visited for New Years and had actually booked that same week. Host Julia was very kind, helpful and always responsive! We appreciated the nice renovated details such as the modern kitchen and new tiling and flooring, the close walkability to downtown, and the off street parking. The description and photos were very accurate, bed was comfy, and everything was very clean. We would be happy to come back and stay again. Thank you!

Julia’s space is cozy, clean, and in a perfect location in Cape May. Walking distance to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops that you would want to visit in Cape May. Lots of space and tastefully decorated as well. We will definitely come again!
